Walt Disney World’s Magic Ticket

Last week Walt Disney World released some pretty cool summer deals! Discounts on resorts, water park deals and after hours events. But one of the coolest things is this summer’s Magic Ticket.

The Magic Ticket allows you to visit one park per day and it’s a 4-day ticket so you can see all the parks. The cost breaks down to $99/day per person. That’s a great deal because most one-day tickets start at $109 per person and can go up to as high as $189 per person. Also NO park reservations are needed with this ticket!

There are some restrictions and block out dates with this ticket to keep in mind. The ticket is a one park per day ticket and park hopper options are not available to add on to this ticket. Also, you can only enter each park once with this ticket, so you cannot use it to go to Magic Kingdom one day, Hollywood Studios the next day and on the 3rd, day go back to Magic Kingdom.

There are a few block out dates to keep in mind with this ticket. The first set of block out dates are in July from the 1st to the 4th, and this makes sense since this is the holiday weekend, and the parks are expected to be busy. The next set of block out dates is September 1st through the 4th, and this is Labor Day weekend.

How would I personally use this ticket? I would book a 5-night resort stay at one of the resorts offering a discounted rate. The first 2 days I would pick 2 parks to visit. The 3rd day I would make a resort day or use that day to go to Disney’s water park Blizard Beach. Days 4 and 5 I would hit up the remaining 2 parks. I would also consider making a 6-night reservation instead so you could spend all day at your 4th park and have a nice place to rest before for your travel day which would be the next day.

There you have it! Everything you need to know about Disney’s Summer Magic Ticket! If you’d like to book a summer Disney Vacation you can visit my website:
